CloudKnife is a Ghent-based B2B SaaS startup. We help companies understand their cloud environment and make better decisions about it. Our software maps cloud usage, builds context around every resource and turns that into clear recommendations for IT and finance teams. We work with large enterprises and SMEs across different industries, all over Europe.
There are three of us founders, and we're growing fast. You won't be a small part of a big engineering department. You'll write code that runs at real customers.
01
What you'll do
- Build features in our platform, from backend logic to the screens our customers use
- Help analyse cloud usage data and turn it into reliable insights and recommendations
- Write tests, review code and help keep the platform stable and secure
- Work on integrations with cloud platforms (Azure today, more clouds next)
- Help ship new product releases, such as our self-onboarding flow
- Bring your own ideas to the table on how to build things better
02
Who we're looking for
- You're studying computer science, applied informatics, software engineering or something similar (bachelor's or master's)
- You have programming experience from school, side projects or a student job
- You understand the basics of databases, APIs and version control (Git)
- You're curious about cloud technology. Experience with Azure is a plus, not a must
- You like solving problems yourself, and you ask for help when you need it
- You speak English well. Dutch is a plus
03
What we offer
- Real responsibility: your code goes to production
- Direct coaching from our CTO and the other founders
- A clear view of how a SaaS product is built, sold and run
- A flexible, hybrid way of working from our office in the Wintercircus in Ghent
- The chance to grow with a startup, and maybe stay on after your internship
